If it makes you happy, it can't be that bad!

It's time to stop overthinking dreadlocks. I can't believe the amount of messages I receive sharing the same thread - you want them but you are so nervous.

I totally get it, after all what would people think? How would you be perceived? Are you doing something you shouldn't be?

Well the reality is, people are already judging you daily without the dreadlocks so you might as well look fabulous in the process. And no, you are not doing anything wrong or being culturally inappropriate.

Everything has an origin. It is how we honour,connect and represent this which is the important part and when it comes to synthetic dreadlocks, the story is different - this is more about expression rather than spiritual connection. It is no different to wearing a wig or extensions so please let's drop the other thinking and start thinking about which colour you are going for!

Synthetic dreadlocks are a great way to express yourself and experiment with dreadlocks before starting your permanent loc journey. It's temporary, fun and extremely empowering.

It is NEVER about the photos.

A gorgeous insight I have had about myself and my work very recently, is that Photography is only a channel for my soul purpose.

The photographs are just a product of the magic that takes place. The real magic is the mirror that I hold up for my clients.

I simply reflect back to them how absolutely powerful and sovereign they are. I provide them with a stepping stone to show the world something that is already theirs and was all along. My photographs are just a tool, for my clients to express and tell their story in a powerful, authentic and magical way.

There are thousands of people out there with cameras, who can take good quality images - but what I do is capture and deliver a story which is raw, personal and magical. Ask any of my clients, they all say the same thing..... It was NEVER about the images. It was about the journey they had to take to step into a new level of awareness for their medicine and their business.

The way people process Marketing is changing and our bulls&$t radars are on high alert. Many are fighting against the falseness of AI and are looking for REAL connection - my photography is here to mirror this and support bada£$ magical AF souls who want to show up authentically and unapologetically.

Finding Ritual, Magick and Remembrance in Macrame

We know Macrame is beautiful. The simplicity of knots and cord creating such beautiful art. I knew in my bones that I was going to create magic with this art form and of course everything I do is injected with soul, reverence and intention which takes the Wild Thread Collective Macrame to a whole other level.

My passion is to weave Ritual, Magick and Remembrance into all of my pieces.

I create pieces which honour the practice of Ritual. I birth pieces for you in Ritual and birth pieces for you to be part of your Ritual. Our practices are personal and sacred and I honour this.

I create pieces through Magick. Guided by the seasons, cycles and spiritual connection. My pieces flow with and through me.

I create pieces with Remembrance. Celebrating the stories within us, told and untold. The deep knowings within our bodies, which have no words but are as tangible as the skin we carry.

Yes it's pretty. But pretty is everywhere - pretty is manufactured.

What I create is Soul - knot by knot.

I’m not revealing what’s inside… not yet anyway 👀
But watching these little bundles of intention being opened in circle was pure magic.

Each woman’s face lit up in such a different way...curiosity, joy, emotion, reflection.
It was a reminder that intention & creation looks different for everyone.
Some were delicate, quiet moments. Others were fierce and powerful. All were welcome.

These packages are so much more than materials. They are tiny, tactile portals that connect us back to ourselves, our ancestors, and the sacred threads that weave through us all.

It’s wild that we have to schedule rest, isn’t it?
Yesterday I co-held a sacred day called The Pause - a reminder that slowing down isn’t a luxury, it’s a lifeline.

But the truth is, we can find micro-moments of pause within the noise of daily life. Little rituals that whisper, “I’m here.”

🧡 When you stir your tea in the morning, resist the pull of the to-do list. Pause and ask yourself, What do I need today?

🧡 Before stepping out of the car, meet your gaze in the mirror. Breathe. Remind yourself how beautifully you’re doing.

🧡 When your head sinks into that squishy pillow at night, think of one small thing you did for you. And if you can’t, don’t be hard on yourself. Just try again tomorrow.

Here’s to more pause. More presence. More softness. 🧡
